We were both surprised and humbled by the response to the notification of our closing. The messages we received were heartwarming that the needles have had such a positive impact on so many people.
ORDERS ALREADY PLACED--In the first week, we took in the equivalent of several months’ worth of orders. Because of this, it’s taking longer than usual to fill the orders – we still have the same number of people working on this as we have in the past. Orders are being pulled and packed in the order they were received. We appreciate your patience as we work through the backlog and do our best to make sure we have order accuracy. Please note that we are unable to respond to order change requests at this time.
ITEMS NOT AVAILABLE--We are finding that the volume of orders that were processed in a two-day period overwhelmed the system and allowed people to purchase things that weren’t available. In those cases, we will reach out to you to see if we have an equivalent or similar item that you can use to get you what you want. Items that are truly out of stock will be refunded.
While we work through packing these orders, we’ve paused selling the needles. We need to make sure we have inventory to try to fill the orders that come in.
BACK ORDERS--We expect that it’s still going to take many weeks to get through picking and packing these orders, so your patience is greatly appreciated. We are holding packages that have a back ordered item that will be filled in a few weeks.
For orders that have not yet been picked: If you don’t want to wait and would prefer to cancel your order, just let us know – but be aware that any cancelled orders are unlikely to be able to be reordered later.
